Extreme Division
The internet would lead you to believe that humans are in screamingly opposing camps on pretty much every issue and habit. Not only that, but you must take sides and go all in.
Such silliness.
Not to appropriate Aristotle, but the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. Or in a combination of the extremes.
One of the current troubles of working-age people (whatever that means nowadays) is: to hustle or not to hustle.
Why not do both?
Obviously you cannot both hustle and not hustle at any given moment, but you can definitely alternate. And if you have lofty goals you should do both.
I know I am being peak GenX here but you CANNOT achieve big things, or a big step forward in your career, or setting up a business that will sustain you in the long term without serious hustle. Unless you inherit it from someone, you have to work hard towards it. No way around that. But.
Periods of hustle should be interspersed with periods of rest and contemplation. As, fortunately or not, you are not a machine.
